If you're working on your next book, short story, etc., you know there are certain writing no-nos to follow. One of these things includes filler words. These words can slow the pace of your story and make your content more concise. To make your work stronger, consider rewording, or deleting the following:
THAT
REALLY
VERY
ONLY
ATTEMPT
COMPLETELY
FINALLY
TO
LASTLY
SHOW UP
ABSOLUTELY
ACTUALLY
EVEN
LITERALLY
SUDDENLY
JUST
ALMOST
GOOD
SERIOUSLY
LIKE
I hope that this short list is helpful! Just to remind you, even though these words are usually used as filler words, it's still okay to use them sparingly. Happy writing!
