First Line:
We see the polar bear an hour before dawn.
Summary:
Adrian still wants to be freed, and Aurora is determined to do just that.
The only way to do so is to destroy the maker of vampires, the Commodore. The catch? The Commodore knows about their plan and has taken extra precautions to ensure he stays alive.
Aurora must make a decision that will change her fate as well. Is her love for Adrian enough to change life as she knows it?
My Review: NO SPOILERS
I love the Lair series and was so happy to receive a copy of Reckoning! The ending of this book summed everything up, and I enjoyed it until the end. Adrian and Aurora are couple goals, and Aurora is a badass in these books! I love her for that!
Also, I like that the stakes of Lair Reckoning were so high! The tension added to the story and I found myself plunging in, wanting to know the rest.
Honestly this was such a good series, one of my favorites recently. I eagerly await more books from D.V. 😁 if you're looking for a reason to read this book, this is it! (Also he provided me with his new cover art to post, isn't it gorgeous?!)
