In June of this year, I published a blog (which you can find here) about my book Never-Ending Nightmares, and its upcoming sequel that I have started to blow the dust from. I wanted to take the time to talk about the progress I've made so far and the plans I have for the sequel!
I discussed what I had written for the second book in my previous blog. To recap, by June, I had 9 chapters done for my first draft. I still plan on having 29 chapters, excluding the prologue and epilogue, so that plan is staying the same.
I'm currently writing this blog on December 2nd, 2023, and a lot has happened in 6 months.
I just started writing chapter 22. Although I've taken a break from working on this book specifically, I plan to finish the first draft at the beginning of the new year. It has been particularly rewarding plunging back into this story and relearning all of the characters again. It's something my 19-year-old self would appreciate, and I can only hope others can enjoy it too.
