A week's vacation, where six friends will enjoy the pleasures of hiking and hottubs. The only problem? The car has broken down on a lonely road in the middle of the woods. The six must set out into the wilderness in an attempt to find the resort they are all looking forward too, but when people start disappearing, the hike to safety becomes a dangerous game of whodunnit.
My Review: NO SPOILERS
Interesting and unsuspecting
I loved that this book included a glimpse into the killer’s mind, from their perspective, when they were a child. It gives more character to the plot overall. As for the main plot, I think that it started out well, but got a little tedious to read. I kept reading because I wanted to know who did it, but I also would not have blinked if the killer had been any of the characters. For me, I think it made this less fun to read because I would’ve accepted the killer being anyone.
Otherwise, it was interesting to see how all the different characters relationships intertwined, and how they all reacted in a dangerous situation. The end was also pretty unique, and the motive wasn’t the motive that I had expected.
