My Review: NO SPOILERS

Captivating from the beginning!

I love a book that has me guessing the whole way through, and this did not disappoint in that category. I enjoyed the realism detailed descriptions of the case , it helped to pull me into the story and care about the characters.

I also thought that Angie’s background was unique, and I really enjoyed how the information unfolded as its own sub-plot! Overall great read ❤️

My Favorite Quote(s):

Sometimes, Angie thought, the difference between heaven and hell was people. Sometimes, no matter how hard you tried, you made no difference at all.

“Sometimes I think a shrink would have a field day with me trying to salvage things that I know are irreparably broken—that old boat, that retirement dream, that old notion of family I once had.”

Panic is like a wild horse without the jockey of logic to rein it in. You actually lose the ability to think at all—you just act from the primal brain.
