First Line:
"The last time I attended a funeral, I ended up with a broken arm."
Summary:
Rowan, the grumpy billionaire and owner of a dream park that conflicts his personality, is forced to work with Zahra in order to keep the fortune his grandfather has left behind. Zahra is, of course, the opposite of Rowan, and her bubbly personality and creative ideas land her a job at Dreamland. Can the complete opposites put their differences aside to complete the project, or will their feelings get in the way?
My Review: NO SPOILERS
Rowan and Zahra’s banter was so fun to go through! It really is a grumpy black cat and golden retriever type book, which I loved, but the black cat trope was a little too strong. Rowan is such a mess, and his mistake after mistake after mistake almost had me losing faith, but in the end I felt content! It felt like a quick read because I absolutely blew through it, but it definitely got some smiles and eye rolls along the way.

His scowl only deepens once his eyes land on my cherry-red sneakers. I click the heels together twice with a smile.
