Upcoming Poetry Book: Title Reveal, Release Date, and More!

Hello lovely writers, readers, and in between!

I have some exciting news about a new poetry chapbook coming out. I had to hold off information, but now the time has come to give some big reveals!

Title Reveal

The title for my chapbook will be “you told me not to write about you.” I don’t think this is going to change between now and the release date, so I might as well let the cat out of the bag! You can probably guess the topic, but keep reading for more information!

Release Date

I don’t want to give the exact date yet, but right now I’m looking toward the end of September for this release!

Book Contents

My second collection is going to be a chapbook, which will be available in paperback and ebook! I will be self publishing this collection through Amazon, the same as my previous collection.

I already have the poems written and edited, so the only thing I’m working on is the illustrations and the cover page. There will be a total of 22 poems, so it’s pretty short and sweet.

The cover page is nowhere near ready, but I’m doing the art for the inside of the book myself! I’m so excited to illustrate my poetry and hope my digital art skills will come in handy. Maybe I’ll do the cover art to, but we will see!

This book is a short and concise dive into how I dealt with the end of a toxic relationship. It is something I write about often on my Instagram and other social media, but this book is a lot more personal. I wrote it fresh after the breakup, and it wasn’t supposed to go out into the world, but I think it’s important as a poet not to sugarcoat the hard stuff.

Although this will be my second collection, it is no less terrifying, but I am beyond excited to share more of my soul with the world! Tune into my Instagram for more updates, and see you next Saturday, loves <3
